Lobster Dog Machine Co. was built from a lifelong fascination with mechanics, storytelling, and the things that bring characters to life.

​

From an early age, I was drawn to animatronics, special effects, and precision machinery. Over the past 15 years, that passion turned into a career working across animatronics, stop-motion animation, precision manufacturing, and mechanical design. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to projects for world-renowned entertainment companies, collaborate with incredibly talented artists and engineers, and develop a deep respect for both creative problem solving and craftsmanship.

Lobster Dog Machine Co. began as a way to bring all of those experiences together under one roof.

​

What started as a small machine shop and design studio has grown into a place where I can focus on creating professional-grade stop-motion hardware, precision-machined components, and custom mechanical solutions for artists, studios, and makers alike. Every product is designed with durability, functionality, and real-world production experience in mind, because these are the same types of tools and systems I’ve relied on throughout my own career.

At its core, Lobster Dog is about building things the right way: thoughtfully designed, carefully machined, and made to last. Whether it’s a single armature component, a modular rigging system, or a custom mechanical project, the goal is always the same , to create reliable tools that help bring ideas and stories to life.
